Welcome to Transition Fidalgo
Our mission is to spur local responses to climate change that strengthen our community and help heal the planet. TF urges a move away from fossil fuels through decreasing energy demand, increasing efficiency, supporting renewable energy, and fostering the local production of food, energy, and goods. We envision a world where humanity has drastically reduced its reliance on fossil fuels, living wisely and well within planetary limits.

The backbone of Transition Fidalgo is education and engagement. We invite guests to present at our monthly meetings about various topics centering around clean energy and climate change. Tune in to our next meeting!
Scholarships and Grants
We are pleased to offer grants to Fidalgo Island students and school district projects. These grants are funded by community members giving specified donations for our scholarship program.
Mark your calendars for Fix-It Days 2024!
Bring something by for our skilled volunteers to fix, mend, and sharpen at one of our fix-it days! Our mission is to give new life to broken items and divert repairable waste from the landfill.
